  • Kang's "Did you know?" section mentions that he was once part of an R&B group called "New Squids on the Block", a reference to New Kids on the Block. One of their albums went to number one in the Andromeda System.
  • A vial of Kang's drool was sold on eBay for over $4,500.
  • Kodos' "Did you know?" section mentions that she wrote an autobiography called The Da Vinci Kodos, a reference to The Da Vinci Code.
  • Kodos' favorite TV show is Single Female Lawyer, a TV show in Futurama.
