Homer's father read Jack and Jill for Homer when he was young. He started to read the book saying "Jack and Jill went up the hill and", before he read the last sentence of the book, "Jill came tumbling after".[1]
Young Bart and Lisa hit each other with copies of Jack and Jill and Goodnight Moon.[2]
