A Chair of One's Own is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #9.

Plot[edit]

After a brief encounter with the school bullies, Martin takes refuge in the Springfield Public Library. Finding Lisa there as well, Martin asks her why she visits the library more than anyone else. Lisa ponders the question and thinks back to a number of unpleasant events that had occurred that day, including being kicked out of band practice and having her bike run over. Smiling, she tells Martin that there is no reason, leaving him understandibly confused.
