Comic Story information

Suck It Up! is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #233.
Synopsis
- "Marge goes in search of a new vacuum cleaner."
Plot
Marge wakes up to a pillow fight in the living room between Homer, Bart and Lisa after the pillow factory has thrown away all the pillows after a bedbug outbreak. Homer goes to work and the kids go to school, and Marge stays home to vacuum up the mess. The vacuum cleaner stops working, so Marge goes to Suck Different. After some problems paying, she comes home with a new vacuum cleaner but it blows too much. She gets one custom-made for children instead, but it is even worse. Marge gives up, but then finds another store, Suck Everlasting which is going out of business. Gil sells her a vacuum cleaner similar to her old one. Marge's retro vacuum cleaners soon become popular and everyone wants to buy one, but it's too late because Gil has already burned down the store. Marge has finished the cleaning just as Homer and the kids come back with ashes that they have picked up from a burned-down vacuum store, and they start having an ash fight instead, which does not please Marge.
