Alan Smart is an animator and an animation director who directed the Simpsons episode "Flaming Moe's". He also worked as an assistant director and layout artist with the show.
He also did animation on the show CatDog, Hey Arnold!, Rocko's Modern Life, The Ren and Stimpy Show and SpongeBob Squarepants. He has also done animation on two feature films: The Little Mermaid and Oliver & Company.
