"Deep, Deep Trouble" was successful in the UK, where it peaked at #7, becoming The Simpsons' second top ten hit in the UK.

"Deep, Deep Trouble" gave The Simpsons' their first (and only) chart entry in the United States, where it peaked at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100.
