Ricky Gervais is a British comedian, actor and writer. He is most famous for his sitcoms The Office and Extras both of which he wrote and starred in, along with Stephen Merchant. He has also appeared in several American films, including Night at the Museum and Stardust. Gervais wrote and guest starred in the episode "Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife" voicing the character Charles Heathbar.
