The Rex Mars Atomic Discombobulator is a toy ray gun that was being sold at Cockamamie's. It costs fifty dollars.
History
When Homer remarks that all the stuff being sold at Cockamamie's is junk, he walks over to a shelf and looks at the toy. Upon noticing it's rather large price tag he comments "No kid is worth that!"
Later on when John comes to take the Simpsons for a drive, he pretends to zap Homer with the gun.
Homer, thinking that Bart is becoming gay as a result of John's influence becomes even more worried when he sees Bart playing with the same gun. This prompts Homer to try and turn Bart into a man.
The illustration on the box depicts a little boy in a space suit, jumping around on the moon, playing with the toy.
