Starting from November 23, 1996 when it broadcasted There's No Disgrace Like Home, it had the rights to air The Simpsons and aired a documentary called The Simpsons: America's First Family in June 2000. However after the cost of broadcasting episodes became too high, they handed the rights to air the show to Channel 4 in 2002. The last episode to air on BBC Two was Behind the Laughter on April 19, 2004.
