While on an archaeological dig, Lisa uncovers a fossil of what appears to be an angel. Homer steals it,putting it in his garage and having people $1 to see it. Enraged that the citizens of Springfield are ignoring science, Lisa tries to destroy it, but finds it gone. It reappears at the top of a hill, with 'the end will come at sundown' chiselled into its' base. However, it is revealed to be a promotional stunt for a new shopping center.
