The Shock was the fifth Butterfinger commercial that aired on April 6, 1991.
Plot
Homer sneaks into the bedroom and wants to steal Bart's Butterfinger, unaware it is wired to an electrical current.
Transcript
- [Homer sneaks up into the bedroom and tries to grab his Butterfinger, unaware it is wired to an electrical current.]
- Homer: Ooh, my little buddy sleeping like a baby. You won't mind if I take a bite of this crispity, crunchity peanut but--Aah!
- [Bart turns the light on and was awake.]
- Bart: I told you, Homer.
- [Cut to a screen with a Butterfinger on it. The words "Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger!" appear above the screen and bites the Butterfinger. The screen then fades out.]
- Bart (voiceover): Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger!
