Trivia
- The first act of this episode did not appear in syndication, because FOX thought that the first act may influence children to repeat Maggie's actions in it.
- In syndication, there is still a fork next to the socket Maggie put it in.
- Syndication also cut out the bit at the beginning where Marge is telling the kids to keep an eye on Maggie, which is unusual.
- This is the first short to revolve around Maggie.
- This is the first short where Homer doesn't appear.
