Allison Taylor is a classmate of Lisa Simpson. A new student in Springfield, her developed intellectual abilities led to the two becoming friends. After it became apparent that Allison is, in fact, significantly more intelligent, Lisa became jealous, sabotaging Allison's diorama concerning the Edgar Allen Poe short story The Tell-Tale Heart. Eventually the two reconciled.
Winona Ryder voiced Allison Taylor in her one appearance on The Simpsons, the second episode of the sixth season: Lisa's Rival.
