Clank, Clank, You're Dead!
Movie Information
Genre: Science Fiction

Clank, Clank, You're Dead! is a science fiction movie. A poster of the movie and a robot from the movie can be seen for sale at Cockamamie's.

History

The Simpsons went to Cockamamie's to sell an old heirloom to pay their gas bill. As Bart and Lisa wandered around the store they came across a poster for the movie "Clank, Clank, You're Dead!" Beside the poster was an actual robot from the film. Lisa remarks how awful it must've been for the midget who would've had to sit inside the robot to operate it. Bart then says "Oh boohoo! That's what they get paid for!" As the two then walk away, a door on the robot swings open, revealing the skeleton of a midget who had apparently died in the robot.

Behind the Laughter

The movie itself is a parody of 60's sci-fi "B" movies, while the poster parodies the one for the movie Forbidden Planet.
