The Springfield's States Gubernatorial Election determined who would become the Highest Executive of Springfield's State. The election was won by incumbent governor and former Springfield Mayor, Mary Bailey.

Burns started off very low in the polls, worked his way up, but was humiliated on election night and lost the election badly.
