Meditations on Turning Eight is a poem that Lisa Simpson wrote just before her eighth birthday.History[edit]
When Homer wore a pink shirt to work, he was given a take-home psychological test to fill out. Not wanting to do it himself, he asked Lisa to fill out the form for him. Lisa said she would if Homer would listen to her poem, Meditations on Turning Eight.
Homer agreed and listened while Lisa started reading the poem. After Lisa read the first line of the second verse, Homer decided he didn't want to hear the rest. He then said, "no deal" and left. Later, he got Bart to fill out the psychological test for him.
