Professor Pigskin is a business that predicts the winners of football games.
History[edit]
Professor Pigskin sends a pamphlet to Homer, in which they correctly pick the game winners that week. Lisa is skeptical about it, saying that they probably send out many letters, half predicting one team, half predicting the other. They keep doing that until the people who only got the right predictions pay for a subscription. Homer doesn't believe her, and subscribes and starts betting on games. He eventually loses so much money that he becomes indebted to the Springfield Mafia.
