Sir Ian Murray McKellen, CH, CBE (born May 25, 1939) is an English activist and actor, best known for his roles as Gandalf in the The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings film trilogies and as Magneto in the X-Men film series. He voiced himself in the season 15 episode "The Regina Monologues".
