Drowning in Debt was the theme of Springfield Elementary's yearly fundraiser one year. In the auction, Bart pretended he was a rich lady from England wanting to buy all of the stuff in the auction.
Items in the auction[edit]
Edith Knickertwist paid a total of $116,000 for all of the items.
A bench hand-crafted by the second grade with "Ralqh" spray-painted on it. Edith Knickertwist paid $1000 for it.
