In 1990, Mattel bought the rights to product a line of ''The Simpsons'' figures. 11 figures were produced and released, three only available in Southern America, and one, considered the holy grail of all ''Simpsons'' collectors, [[Save Blinky Bart figurine|Save Blinky Bart]], only available through mail-in, with only a few figures known to surface. A second series was planned, but plans were scrapped when the line did not sell as well as the company hoped.

== Arco figures ==
A British company, {{w|Arco}}, which Mattel is its parent company, made 'Rev n Go' racers, which were vehicles that users pulled back and drove. Designs available were Homer, Bart and Maggie. (It is unknown whether there was one produced for Marge or Lisa, however this is likely). Also, the company made wind up figures of Maggie, Bart (2 variants available), Homer and Lisa.
