== History ==
When [[Springfield]] installed a network of {{w|CCTV}} surveillance cameras, one of them covered Inspiration Point. [[Ned Flanders]] was one of the people who monitored the surveillance video feed, and he would use the cameras and sound system to catch kissing teenagers (such as [[Jimbo]] and [[Shauna]]) at Inspiration Point and tell them to stop what they were doing.

== Behind the Laughter ==
"Inspiration Point" is a common nickname for teenage make-out spots in general, popularized in part by the '70s TV series ''{{w|Happy Days}}''.
