When [[Homer Simpson]] saved [[Springfield]] from a catastrophic meltdown, he is hailed as a hero. [[Mr. Burns]] decides Homer will be the next Homer "Employee of the Month" in a ceremony at the [[Springfield Nuclear Power Plant]], and gives him a plaque and a [[Krusty Ham]], with perks like a reserved parking space next to Mr. Burns. [[Waylon Smithers, Jr.]] is shocked because he has beem always Employee of the Month.
