Dr. Velimirovic is a plastic surgeon who works at the Stomach Staples Center. He has performed operations on Moe, Marge and Homer.

History[edit]

When Moe realized he was ugly, he went to Dr. Velimirovic to get a new face. Dr. Velimirovic first offered to install new buttocks, but Moe shot him down, saying he just wanted a new face. Dr. Velimirovic told Moe that most faces needed some remodeling but his needed a total tear down. Dr. Velimirovic then operated on Moe and told his nurses that they should see Moe's genitals. After the operation, Dr. Velimirovic unwrapped Moe's face and fixed some leakeage and let him go.[1]

Later, Marge became worried that Homer would lose interest in her. Manjula recommended that she get a liposuction, so Marge went to Dr. Velimirovic, who agreed to give her the operation. However, due to a mix-up, Marge ended up with breast implants, which had been intended for one of Mayor Quimby's interns. Dr. Velimirovic told Marge that she had to wait for 48 hours before the implants could be removed. Marge was at first furious about the mix-up, but later became adjusted to the implants and decided to keep them. In the end, however, she decided to have them removed, and Dr. Velimirovic performed that procedure as well.[2]

Homer went to Dr. Velimirovic for stomach staples and plastic surgery.[3]

He went to Green Day's funeral and attended Lisa's town meeting regarding Lake Springfield.[4]

Dr. Velimirovic speaks with an Eastern European accent and one of his favorite expressions seems to be "Great Ceaușescu's ghost!", implying that he may be from Romania and/or received his medical training there.[2]
