Lizzie Borden was accused of the axe murders of her father and stepmother in Victorian New England. She was acquitted at trial, but public suspicions remained.

Biography

Lizzie Borden was a member of Flanders the Devil's hand-picked Jury of the Damned. After evidence was provided that showed that Marge owned Homer's soul, so it was not his to give away, Lizzie Borden told the court that the jury decided that Marge owned his soul, not the Devil.[1]

Mrs. Krabappel casts Bart as the murder victim in Springfield Elementary School's production of the Lizzie Borden story starring Martin Prince as Lizzie Borden.[2]

Behind the Laughter

On June 20, 1893 Lizzie Borden (July 19, 1860 – June 1, 1927) was acquitted of the axe murders of her father and stepmother.
