Strangles was the python adopted by Bart in Stop or My Dog Will Shoot after Santa's Little Helper joined the police force. Bart took his snake to Show and Tell at school where he escaped. Strangels knocks over some chemicals at the lab, and created a toxic cloud. Bart runs back into the building to save Strangels, and Santa's Little Helper runs after him. Bart collapsed inside the building and both Strangles and Santa's Little Helper tries to rescue him. Bart chose Santa's Little Helper to save him. Strangles got adopted by Groundskeeper Willie after that. He now lives in the school fire hose cabinet , courtesy of Groundskeeper Willie.
