Homer Simpson's Little Book of Laziness Comic Book Guy reviews several comic book adaptations of works of classic literature. Between CBG's reviews and the books themselves, the roster contains several references to the Marvel universe:

Regarding the adaptation of Little Women, CBG says he envisions a Team-Up issue with the Little Men, including Ant-Man and the Micronauts. Also, on the cover, one of the characters calls out, "Little women, assemble!", a take on the "Avengers, assemble!" battle cry of The Avengers.

The title of the comic The Invincible Man in the Iron Mask is a wordplay on The Man in the Iron Mask and Iron Man, who is sometimes referred to as "The Invincible Iron Man". Additionally, the title character, as depicted on the cover, bears a very strong resemblance to Iron Man.

The cover of the adaptation of A Farewell to Arms shows the main character having lost his arms, which doesn't happen in the novel. CBG justifies the depiction as artistic license, and as a supporting example cites a storyline where Spider-Man fist bumps Barack Obama.

In the review of Uncle Tom's Cabin in the Woods!, CBG cites "Simon Legree" as the worst villain name next to "Paste-Pot Pete", which was the original name of Trapster.
