The forty-two content update, known as the "Valentine's 2014" for The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released in February 5, 2014 and it included stuff related to Valentine's Day.

After player log in You know, Dad. Valentine's Day is coming up. Perhaps this year your could do something romantic for Mom. What are you talking about? My Valentine's gifts are always romantic. There's nothing romantic about sweatpants with the word "Juicy" on the butt. It's sexy! Tons of off-duty starlets wear them. Not with the "Juicy" written in marker pen. But women like handmade gifts! No, that's just something we say. Fine, I'll stop by Cletus's farm and get her some roses. *gasp* You're buying from a local farmer? My browbeating paid off! Just when I thought I was coming off as strident, you've encouraged me to hector more than ever. Yippee. The player receives "Cards Are Read, Marge's Hair is Blue Pt. 1" which is to "Reach Level 6 and Builid Cletus' Farm" and "Harvest Valentine's Roses". It takes 24 hours, cost 1,000 and the player receives total 250 and 110 in reward. Okay, I got roses. Valentine's gift... done! Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Roses are just an accompaniment. They're like a side dish. You still need to get something big, like jewerly or a weekend get-away, as the entrée. Great, now I have to go shopping. And dining. Your analogy made me hungry.

After tapping on Krusty's exclamation mark Hey hey. It’s Valentine’s Day! Your change to tell that special someone in your life... ...and all the unknown weirdos you friended to get your numbers up... ...that you acknowledge their existence – in order to get free stuff on a phone game! And here’s something totally new – The "Wheel of Friendship!" Wait, isn’t that the same wheel you put out for Christmas? No, that wheel was totally rigged. This one is only a little bit rigged. Also, it’s pink! Just like the thousands of donuts I intend to burn through buying spins for it. The player receives "Cards Are Read, Marge's Hair is Blue Pt. 2" which is to "Spin the Wheel of Friendship". It cost 200 and the player receives total 50 and 10 in reward. Great spinning! You are one step closer to getting the Tunnel of Love ride in Krustyland. I usually don’t like theme parks because they’re loud and their rides are whiplashy, but I might actually go to Krustyland if it had a Tunnel of Love! And isn’t that what we’re all looking for? Message You can keep planting roses at Cletus's farm for extra Hearts and Rose Bush decorations. In fact, you have to! The player receives "A rose is a Rose is a Rose" which is to "Harvest Valentine's Roses (x3)" and "Place Valentine's Roses from Storage (x3)". It takes 24 hours every time, cost 1,000 and the player receives total 200 and 310 in reward.

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark Hey Lisa, I thought of an amazing Valentine present for your mom - dinner at a resturant she's never been to. Hmm, that's nice... but I wouldn't call it "amazing." And I'm going to build that resturant from scratch in twenty four hours. Okay, that is pretty amazing. The player receives "Cards Are Read, Marge's Hair is Blue Pt. 4" which is to "Build Madame Chao's". It takes 24 hours and the player receives total 50 and 10 in reward Hello there! I'd like to book a romantic dinner for Valentine's Day. Waiter I regret we are fully booked for Valentine's Day. What?! Waiter It's a fancy way of saying, "You Not Eat Here." After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark Stupid restaurant! I think they were still mad about the stuff I tracked in that we thought was dog poop but turned out to be much, much worse. Homer, stop telling the “I couldn’t get a reservation story” already. Yeah, usually, we like inane chatter but that, like, criminally inane. Hi, Homer! It’s me, Mindy! I’m working here again. When's that dinner comin'? I's is straving! I have been floating around being non-existent for well over an owl's age. Do you mean to tell me you have not eaten that whole time?! Not hardly. I ain't got much in the way of eating jobs. Well, don't you worry, darlin'. I'll fix you up your favorite sandwich -- poached possum pattie in a possum piuch pita. The player receives "Kiss My Grits Pt. 1" which is to "Reach Level 6 and Build Cletus' Farm" and "Make Brandine Stab Possums". It takes 60 minutes and the player receives total 205 and 36 in reward.

Kiss My Grits Pt. 2

After tapping on Brandine's exclamation mark These here possums has to soak in a pot a melted butter for an hour. Mainly, so's I kin be sure they's dead. Cause a half-dead possum kin get purty scratchity. While I'm waitin', I suppose I can catch up on some of my housekeeping and parenting duties. The player receives "Kiss My Grits Pt. 2" which is to "Make Brandine Watch Real Sister-wives of Shelbyville". It takes 12 hours and the player receives total 700 and 160 in reward.

That is the worst thing I've ever tasted and I have eaten pretty much everything that can fit in my mouth. That's partly cuz you's tasting it with my fly-swatting spoon. But also cuz it's missing a special ingrediment. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go see that monkey-faced man what sells that strange, non-blinding moonshine. The player receives "Kiss My Grits Pt. 3" which is to "Reach Level 15 and Build Moe's Tavern", "Make Moe Smuggle Endangered Species" and "Make Brandine Pick Up Supplies". I love the subtle taste of a tomacco, it combines the sweetness of tomato with sharpness of accidentally drinking from your chaw spit-cup. The player receives "Kiss My Grits Pt. 4" which is to "Harvest Tomacco (x2)" and " Brandine Prepare Her "Something" Stew". It takes 60 minutes and 4 hours. Darn it, Cletus, I used too much Tomacco. Nonsense, Darlin'. When it comes to Tomacco, I likes a heavy hand. But the smell of it drew the attention of all them Tomacco-addicted Sheep-Junkies what roam this hillside. They busted in and ate the whole washtub of possum. Aw, don't you fret, we gots these places where you can have your grub made by a pro-fessnal vittle-fixer n' brought out to ya by these people called waitnesses. That's sounds like a moonshine-daydream! Take me to this place!

Kiss My Grits Pt. 5

After tapping on Brandine's exclamation mark I'ma so sorry, but I cannot let a you eat in the dining room. You see the sign? No shirt, no shoses, no service. Shoot, and I really wanted me some service! I'd try an order of the shoes, however. Don't worry, I've got a beautiful table in the alley. It's usually reserved for when my dog acquaintances have dates, but tonight it's yours. The player receives "Kiss My Grits Pt. 5" which is to "Reach Level 18 and Build Luigi's", "Make Brandine Go for a Date with Cletus", and "Make Luigi Perform an Alleyway Serenade". It takes 8 hours. Cletus! Feel what these napkins is made of! I don't even know what you call that! It's called "paper." *sighs* It feels like the softest part of trees. You has changed, Brandine. The beautiful city-life has spoilt you. Ah-yep.

After tapping on Brandine's exclamation mark I used to love my simple home. Now that I've seen the city, everythin' here seems so dusty and full of brambles. 'Specially the dust-pond and the bramble-shed. It pains to hear you talk like that, my dear Sister-mom. Hey, your favorite TV show is on! Maybe that's shut you up! Yes. I will escape into the dreamy, soft embrace of staged arguments amongst fish-lipped, cat-faced ladies. You know Cletus, when I thinks of all the threats we face day to day, makes me wonder why anyone's want to bring a child into this world. When what they should be doing is bringing a whole army of chirren into this world. Dang straight! They ain't no problem in the world what idn't made better by having more babies. We better shake a tail feather, we got a barracks to fill. I think I already gots one in the chute. I'll birth it out and we kin git started on t'oter. Aw, Brandine, I jes love our date nights. After Brandine have Birth Another Spuckler 3 times Good Lord, Springfield has suddenly dropped to the bottom of every list with regard to literacy and income. And we've shot to the top of the charts with regard to webbed feet. Brandine and Cletus, your giant family is throwing off all of our averages. What can we to do convince you to stop reproducing? You cain't ask us to stop making chirren, having a gigantic family means everythin' to me-- We'll give you free tickets to every tractor pull. You got yourself a deal! Valentine's Cards

The player can visit their friends to send them Valentine's cards. The player can give there cards to every friend every 24 hours. For every card sent by the player, they get hearts. Every card sent to the player also gives them hearts.
