  • The third photo in Moe's developer tray is Homer in a nude pregnant pose just like the one of Demi Moore in the magazine Vanity Fair.
  • While Bart and Lisa's fights photos are shown, the song that plays is The Kids Are Alright by The Who.
  • Homer always photographed the kids' fights and never stopped them because he felt that lighting was perfect, and compared that to "Florence in May".
  • Bart says that the family story is a tragedy, just like Planet of the Apes. Then he says that the real tragedy is that Hollywood keeps making more Planet of the Apes movies.
