The Simpsons: Tapped Out (TSTO) is a free game for iOS and Android, developed and published by Electronic Arts, first released on February 17, 2012. The game consists of the player helping Homer and other characters to rebuild Springfield. The game features the original cast.

The game was removed from the App Store on March 3, 2012, due to connectivity issues primarily caused by the USA release of the game two days before. August and September that year saw the game re-launch in various countries, with January and February 2013 overlooking the game's long-awaited Android launch in various countries.

'Duffman' is a premium character in Tapped Out , which has to be unlocked by building the Duff Brewery, which costs 190. He has 8 fixed jobs in total, and, one of these 8 jobs requires having bought the Duff Stadium which was originally only available during the Whacking Day 2013 Event as a Prize for Whacking 4,250. However, it then became a premium building after the event ended, costing 90.

He was also moved from the C-List Celebrities Character Collection to the B-List Celebrities Collection with the Whacking Day 2013 Event. This change was made in order to put Miss Springfield in the C-List Celebrities Collection.

Level 37 content update
On November 7, 2013, the Level 37 content update was released! It included two characters, Kirk and Luann. Three buildings, Bachelor Arms Apartments, Cracker Factory, and Office of Unemployment and three decoration, the Southern Cracker Fountain, Golden Calf Idol, and Fleet-A-Pita Van.

November 7: Kirk and Luann are arguing again and taking care of Milhouse...that's right Level 37 is here!
October 23: The Bullies are back to take care of your lunch money!! Dolph and Jimbo are playing in Noiseland Arcade, that's right Level 36's here!
October 1: Springfield is full of ghosts and spirits that can possess its citizens and a ton of new fearing characters...that's scarefully right the Halloween 2013 content update is here!
