The Simpsons: Tapped Out Season 24 Yard Sale content update

The Simpsons: Tapped Out Season 24 Yard Sale is the 21st content update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was released on May 16, 2012.

The content update featured many new decorations, many of which are from season 24, however, some are generic and not from the season. All but two of these are premium. The update also introduced a new character; Frink's Robotic Dog. The Duff Stadium became a premium building for 90, Springfield Coliseum for 190 and Sleep-Eazy Motel for 225. Snake Rocks gives now 2.00%, Snake Stump gives 2.50% and Hollow Snake Trunk 2.75% bonus money and XP to all Jobs.

Gameplay

After the player installs the update, a dialogue box appears:

Homer: Is it the season finale of our show already? I can't believe another year's gone by, and we're all not a year older... Except for Apu and Manjula's octuplets, who age for some reason. Didn't they used to be younger than Maggie?

Lisa: So this is our update for the season finale -- a fourth-wall joke?! Aren't there any characters or quests?

Homer: Well, I guess you could make Lovejoy ride his train for the finale -- that kind of fits. And for the episode before it, you could have Carl honor his Icelandic heritage... if you had Carl.

Lisa: I know! What if we sold a bunch of cool premium items from this season's episodes?

Homer: Pfft. What kind of idiot would want to buy that junk?

Then a notice appears, saying: "Celebrate the end of Season 24 by buying that junk! Available for a limited time only!"
