The Simpsons: Tapped Out it's a free game for iOS, released on February 17, 2012.[1][2] It is a city building game that lets you create your own Springfield. An Android version of Tapped-Out will launch a few months after the first release.[3]

Story

The game begins with a video of Homer at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Instead of doing his job, he is playing Happy Little Elves game on his MyPad. His negligence results in the Nuclear Power Plant blowing up. From here, users are guided through a tutorial to rebuild Springfield. The first playable character is Homer.

Information

  • Collecting all characters in a character collections will result in a reward.
  • Leveling up will unlock new buildings and decorations.
  • Building new buildings will unlock new actions that the characters can perform.
  • Donuts are the game's premium currency.

Trivia

  • Planting weeds on Cletus's farm will cost a dollar but reap no rewards.
  • The reward for planting Triffids is stated to be the "end of humanity".
  • Corn. Actual Corn takes 90 days to grow, which is the actual time taken to grow corn.
