Kitty Carlisle is an American actress.

History

When Bart became famous, he had a dream where when he was older he appeared as a celebrity panelist on Matchgame 2034. His fellow panelists were Billy Crystal, Farrah Fawcett-Majors-O'Neal-Varney, ventriloquist Loni Anderson, Spike Lee and the "vivacious head of Kitty Carlisle". During the taping of the show, Bart accidentally crushed Kitty's head and uttered his long-standing catchphrase, "I didn't do it."

Behind the Laughter

In real life, Kitty Carlisle (1910-2007) was well-known for her appearances on game shows, among them Match Game. She was best known, however, for her long tenure as a regular panelist on To Tell the Truth.
