- Freddy Krueger appeared in "Treehouse of Horror IX"'s couch gag. He sat on the Simpson's couch with Jason Voorhees (from Friday The 13th) watching television, waiting for the Simpsons to arrive.
- He was parodied by Willie in the "Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace" section of "Treehouse of Horror VI".
