He has a motorbike and was once Nelson's soccer couch.[1] When his wife got got hooked on cough drops, he left the family with her gold tooth, with the excuse that he "went to the store for a pack of cigarettes". Nelson missed his father and often believed he really went for cigarettes.
Bart once found Mr. Muntz at a circus and brought him back. He explained he never intended to leave the family: when he went for the cigarettes, he also bought a chocolate bar, which unfortunately had peanuts, which he is allergic to.
