059 "Back to School Gil Deal"

The Simpsons: Tapped Out Back to School Gil Deal update, for The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released on August 13 2014 under a "Patch 1" update, but was not activated until August 14, 2014 under a "Patch 2" update. It is a Gil deal, inwhich he offers the School Bus, the Tetherball, the Monkey Bars and the Seesaw for 70.[1] It is only available if the player does not already obtain the School Bus.[2]. The deal ends August 19, 2014.
Like the previous Gil deal, it is featured in the "Premium Stuff" section of the build menu, as well as its own section. (See Gallery).
On August 16, 2014 at around 5am BST, and secondly at 2:15pm BST, the game sent out a notification reading "School is right around the corner so be prepared with the latest from Gil!", promoting the deal.

Other game changes
Some minor changes, mostly to task lists, were added with the update: [3]
- The See-Saw can now be placed on Boardwalk Tiles
- The "Eat A Buffet Meal" task will only appear in characters' task lists if the player has acquired the Up, Up and Buffet!
- The "Dine At the Swanky Fish" task will only appear in characters' task lists if the player has acquired Swanky Fish.
- The "Run the Stoncutter Daycare" task will only appear in characters' task lists if the player has acquired the Stonecutter Daycare Center.
- Homer's "Wear the Stone of Triumph" task is only visible if the Stone of Triumph is present.
- The "Sing the Stonecutters Song" task now requires the Stonecutters Table.
Gallery
The "Premium Stuff" section of the build menu shows Gil's offer so the player can access the deal.
The offer has its own icon and section.
