The Simpsons: Tapped Out Back to School Gil Deal update, for The Simpsons: Tapped Out and was released on August 13, 2014. It is a Gil deal, inwhich he offers the School Bus, the Tetherball, the Monkey Bars and the Seesaw for 70. It is only available if the player does not already obtain the School Bus.

A new task for Homer was added, "Play Clash of Castles," which lasts one hour, but was not able to be triggered. The Seesaw can now also be placed on Boardwalk Tiles.

Gameplay

After tapping on Gil's exclamation mark Hey, little girl. Do I have some GREAT back to school deals for you!‎ Really? I do love back to school shopping. It's the amuse-bouche to the entrée of learning!‎ Sometimes I can see why I'm not popular.‎ So what can good old Gil tempt you with? Maybe some repossessed playground equipment?‎ I've got monkey bars, a tetherball and a see. For the right price I'll even throw in the saw.‎ I was actually hoping for deals on things like pens, binders...‎ Oh, I don't have any of those. But I could sweeten this playground equipment with something every 8-year-old child needs...‎ A brand new used school bus!‎ ...‎ Aww, come on! This is a classy school bus.‎ It's got a steering wheel, nearly 50% of its seats, and an only slightly rabid raccoon family living in the back.‎ Plus it comes with a licensed driver. It's one of those medical marijuana licenses, though.‎ ‎
