History

Kang and Kodos are watching the sixth game in the world series and want it's ending so the Simpsons' Halloween Special can air. After a while fire Kodos the Accele-Ray but Kang thinks it still boring so he order Kodos to faster the Accele-Ray. Kodos mentioned then at the fabric of the universe itself may shatter. Kang tell Kodos at that it's good for only then could the Cubs will finally win.

The Chicago Cubs are also known as "The Lovable Losers", as they haven't won a World Series championship since 1908. They have reached the World Series for the last time in 1945 and has came close many times.
