Bart and Lisa were convinced they could write better scripts for The Itchy & Scratchy Show than those written by the current writers. When they mailed their script to Itchy & Scratchy International, Roxie delivered it to Roger Meyers, Jr., who rejected the script after noticing that it was written by kids. Roxie also called Abraham Simpson when the kids tried again by using their grandfather's name, with Meyers enjoying the script.
