The Cracker executive is the manager of the Southern Cracker factory. Because it is a family factory, he fired Kirk Van Houten when he and Luann got divorced.
There is the possibility that he is Luann's father because she mentions that Kirk works at her father's factory. However, this has never been confirmed.
