St. John Van Hookstratten is the headmaster at Springfield Preparatory School.
History
He welcomed the Simpson family when they arrived at the school during a fair. When Homer asks about their beer tent he disciplines Homer, saying that only monkeys point.
He was later seen operating a silent auction at the fair.
