Sanjay Nahasapeemapetilon, voiced by Harry Shearer, is Apu’s younger brother.

Role in The Simpsons
Major Appearances
He usually does not make many speaking appearances but he is more of a common background character. His two most major roles were Lisa the Simpson in which he is seen with Apu in most Kwik-E-Mart scenes helping Apu out in the Kwik-E-Mart after a frozen Jasper becomes a new craze at the Kwik-E-Mart. Also, another major role he had was in 22 Short Films About Springfield where he invites Apu to his house for a party after a conversation with Apu in the Kwik-E-Mart.
Minor Appearances
One of his most recognizable appearances in the series was in Lisa the Beauty Queen where his daughter Pahusacheta Nahasapeemapetilon enters the Little Miss Springfield Beauty Pagent and she then sings a parody of MacArthur Park which him and Apu are the only ones that enjoy it. Also, in the previous episode, he is seen to have a son named Jamshed in which both his kids are later seen in Bart's Inner Child. He is briefly mentioned in Yokel Chords in which Apu and Snake go to a therapy sesion at Dr. Stacey Swanson's and Snake claims he keeps robbing Apu but Apu never intiates. Apu then replies with "that is because your are robbing my brother Sanjay". There was also a deleted scene in The Springfield Files where he would rob a car but the car would explode.
Characteristics
He has a daughter named Pahusacheta and a son named Jamshed. Sanjay occasionally runs the store with Apu, but he is not there all the time. Sometimes he skips out on his shift, which aggravates Apu to no end. He is also hinted to be a nudist like Apu. He has been seen with Princess Kashmir.
