Biting Back Pt. 1[edit]

After the user logs in on October 3rd: Halloween approaches. The time when my evil powers are at their height. Tonight my foul presence will bring terror to the huddled, fearful mortals of Springfield. Could you stop off at the Kwik-E-Mart? We need more kitchen trash bags. But I'm flying home as a bat! I'll look like an idiot carrying a shopping bag. Do it! Or tonight your foul presence will be bringing terror to the living room sofa. Yes, Dear. Task: Make Springfielders Ignore Count Dracula [x5] (6s, Homes) If the user has Count Dracula: Task: Make Count Dracula Fail to Scare Springfielders (6s, Homes) On job start: *hypnotizing stare* I want to drink your blood! Really? You look a little old to be a network executive. Oh Krusty, if I wasn't already undead, you'd slay me! On job end: I do not understand. Not a single person in this town is scared by me. I even bit this woman and she started coming on to me. *laughs sheepishly* I haven't had action like that in years. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Biting Back Pt. 2[edit]

After completing Biting Back Pt. 1: Why is no one scared of me? You'd think people deal with unholy bloodsuckers every day. They do: Freemium game designers. Our only hope is to use our vampire allure and turn the people of Springfield into our minions. But first we'll have to get rid of the most dangerous and sexy man in town. Task: Make Ned Fend Off Vampires (6s, Flanders House) On job end: Hey, hey, the only woman I let bite my neck is my wife! Then what's the problem. Just like her, I'm dead. *long suck* Ooh, I feel like an altar boy who's been overdoing the communion wine... Homer, help! Vampires are trying to kill me. Don't worry! Vampires can't stand garlic. Just hang these cloves around your neck. Garlic? That's awfully French. I'll stick with the vampires. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Biting Back Pt. 3[edit]

After tapping on Ned's exclamation mark: Homer, our city is being stalked by vampires! Nooo! They're so terrifyingly moody and angst-ridden. Have no flayvin! Lengthy computer simulations have revealed the way to defeat them. We must dig up ancient relics from the old Van Flanders ruins, and use them to summon a mythical ancient power. The legends call it "Sky Finger" and apparently it has a mysterious power called "tapping". Quest reward: 10 Task: Place Old Ruins Task: Discover a Relic Is this it? That's a rock. Is this it? That's the same rock. I'm bored. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Biting Back Pt. 4[edit]

After tapping on Ned's exclamation mark: We need to dig up more ancient relics and use them to defeat the evil besetting our town. Stupid relics. I've already broken three of your shovels digging them up. More shovels please. I call upon the sky lord to grant us a forge burning with righteousness, forming metal into pickaxes of holy fury. Stupid Flanders! Why didn't you wish for a beer and a jackhammer! Task: Place Holy Forge Task: Acquire Pickaxes [x5] Quest reward: 100 and 10

Biting Back Pt. 5[edit]

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark: Look out! Vampires! Stake 'em! *snarls* No, Homer, those monsters are actually our fellow townspeople! Definitely stake 'em! The vampires have used their "allure" to put a curse on regular people. I think I know how to free them from the allure, but we'll need to use the ceremonies written in the old Flanders family tome. Now where did I put that tome? I borrowed it to put under the leg of my wobbly coffee table. Task: Place Flanders Family Tome Task: Tap the Flanders Family Tome to Cleanse All Monster Minions Task: Clear the Curse on Monster Minions in Friends Towns [x5] Wow, that tome of yours has some kickass anti-minion power. It also has a mighty good recipe for lemonade. Like to try some? We're allies, not friends. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Biting Back Pt. 6[edit]

After completing Biting Back Pt. 5: You'll never stop my minions. We will scatter to the dark corners of Springfield! Hmm, we do have a LOT of dark corners in this town. It's the heart of our latest tourist campaign: "Springfield, Where Lovers Can Watch the Stars". Because we never repair the street lights. That's it! If we create a dark and spooky area around the old ruins, it'll attract the vampire minions, and keep them out of the town! The Frink Future Predictor gives that plan a nintey-nine percent chance of success! But an eighty-seven percent chance the Frink Future Predictor itself is just a worthless piece of junk. Frink away! Task: Craft a Decoration Task: Reach 5% Curse Bonus *inquisitive growl* It's working! The spooky ruins are attracting the minions! Once again, the Frink Future Predictor is right! veryone wants into the game. Quest reward: 100 and 10 Note: Currently, if Count Dracula isn't owned, the quest ends here, with no Bonus Donuts. A patch is in the work to fix it.

Biting Back Pt. 7[edit]

After tapping on Count Dracula's exclamation mark: Vladdy, dearest, my idiotic minions are hiding in the dark instead of chasing victims. Yes, the decision to make them mindless does seem to have some drawbacks. On the other hand, I think we can draw them out of the shadows with the one thing mindless people love. A shopping district. Task: Unlock and Build Dracula-la Land Quest reward: 100 and 10

Biting Back Pt. 8[edit]

After completing Biting Back Pt. 7: I thought if we could defeat any town, it would be this one. No kidding. Last spring, Springfield couldn't even manage to handle an outbreak of athlete's foot. Still can't. My toes are itching the hell out of me. Stand back, Vladdy. It's time to see what a three-hundred-year-old lady vampire can do to this town. My dear, you don't look a day over two-fifty. Task: Unlock Countess Dracula Well, this didn't go as planned. That's Springfield, baby! If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! Don't worry about it, my darling. Go have a nice nap in your coffin. I can't! I drank so much blood I'm too fat to fit in it. Aw, you can burn those calories off in no time. Just stay up until the sun comes out. System Message The Vampire invasion has been thwarted. After completing Biting Back Pt. 6 and the user logs in on October 17th: Those prissy vampire wimps have given up the fight, and headed back to their soggy crypts. Which leaves Springfield wide open for us werewolves. The town is ours for the bacon. It's so sexy when you give into the dark temptations that seize us when the moon is full. Yep, devouring humans, and then going at it like dogs. Task: Make Springfielders Be Unimpressed [x5] (8h, Brown House) If the user has Werewolf: Task: Make Werewolf Try to Terrify Springfielders (8h, Brown House) On job start: *growl* *growl* yerself. You think you're hairy and have stink breath? Well, meet a Scotsman! *whimper* On job end: Back so soon? No blood on your jowls? Lot of tough characters in this town. Plus, when I'm not a werewolf, I'm an accountant. I'm really not that aggressive. That's why we got into werewolving... to give you more self-esteem. No one interferes with my mate's therapy... Quest reward: 100 and 10

Ruff Welcome Pt. 2[edit]

After completing Ruff Welcome Pt. 1: A new curse will soon strike this wicked town! Werewolves will bite the townspeople, and turn them into mindless minions. *snarls* You know what they say, "Fur is murder... ous!". For five bucks I'll give you obscure hints about how to get rid of them. For ten bucks, you get a full manual and an app to keep track of your steps while you do it. Luckily, Chapter Two in the Flanders Family Tome is all about how to reverse the werewolf curse! Yeah, but you still want to keep track of your steps, right? Ruff Welcome Pt. 3[edit]

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark: We're flushing out our werewolf minions like a Californian cleansing at Aromatherapy. Let's keep following the monster playbook, and add a building that will attract the minions into a kill zone. Attract a dog... We could build a house full of my slippers. Wolves have one weakness. After completing Ruff Welcome Pt. 3: What the flea?! What's happening to all my pup-pets? You tried to take over our town, well now it's time to pay the butcher's bill. Seriously, because buying all this raw meat to attract werewolves is costing a fortune. You pathetic losers. You couldn't even transform into a guinea pig if you wanted to. Here I come, and I warn you, I'm a bitch. Task: Unlock She-Wolf Time to dine! I'm not gonna run! 'Cause I never run. Way too tiring. Quest reward: 100 and 10

So, purely as a matter of personal health, let's call off the attack on Springfield. Right. Not saying they beat us. Just making a lifestyle choice. Task: Make She-Wolf Spin Her Defeat in Positive Terms (8h, Brown House) So, Ms. Werewolf, going to tuck-tail and run? No, I'm just switching to a vegan lifestyle. Only going to eat vegans. After completing Biting Back Pt. 6 and the user logs in on October 31st: O my proud husband Amenhotep, the vampires and werewolves have felt the asp-bite of defeat. Yes, my dear, they got it right in the bum. It was an asp-ass-bite. As senior monster, it's up to you to show them the proper way to visit a terrible curse on a helpless town. But my high priestess, I was gonna watch football today! Have a heart. I can't have a heart. It was pulled out through my nose while I was being embalmed. Ugh, three thousand years, you're still complaining about that. Task: Make Springfielders Flee From Mummies [x5] (12h, Homes) Task: Clear Monster Minions [x10] On job start: Uh, Marge, did you order some kind of weird body-wrap beauty service? Not that I remember. Good. Lisa, have you been making robots with papier-mâché? No, I've been drawing ponies. Why do you ask? Because then...Mummies! Aaaah! *snarls* Grrrrrrr! Let me borrow your flamethrower and I'll make quick work of these creatures. Homer, no! Those are our friends and neighbors under those mummy wraps! I'm aware of that. After tapping on Ned's exclamation mark: Homer, my ancient book explains how to use stone tablets to send the mummies back into their tombs. Can you be sure it will work? It's so ancient, it was written by an Egyptian. Fellow by the name of Amenhotep. Looks like we can order stone tablets online. But the shipping will cost a fortune. We're going to need something bizarre...like a bazaar! Task: Unlock and Build Bazaar All right, an old-fashioned bazaar! Bet we can find some ancient tablets for sale here. O honored but idiotic husband of mine, why did you write a book explaining how to defeat us? For a start, I was still alive, and number two I needed cash for that fancy pyramid you just had to have. Arrgh! I need to get in there and put a stop to this. Also, I see a beautiful brooch for sale! Monster-kind deserves to be free more than just a single night a year on Halloween! Is that what this is about? Let me show you something. Task: Make Lisa Show Womenhet the Mummy Around Springfield (8h, Womenhet) So, all these monsters are welcome in Springfield? Not exactly welcome, but let's face it, the most dangerous thing in this town is my dad. I blew the whole thing up. And WE'RE still allowed to live here. Then if you'll have us, we'll settle in this horrible town and do our best to make it better. For us, "better" means even more horrible. The invasion has been quashed. I welcome our new citizens.
