Character Information
|
Chuck Bly, also known as the pool guy, is a pool installer who works in Springfield.
History[edit]
He was contracted to build a pool in Ned Flanders' backyard. However, due to a mix up at his office he ended up building the pool in Homer Simpson's backyard, much to his delight. When Chuck realized his mistake he attempted to fill in the pool with dirt, but Homer refused to let him and militarized his house and yard with the help of Herman Hermann. A standoff then began between Homer and Chuck, each waiting for the other to give in. The pool worker's union and their militia quickly got involved, and Chuck's temper began to rise. When the militia failed, Chuck accepted defeat and let Homer keep the pool. Just as Chuck and his crew were leaving, an earthquake caused by Milhouse Van Houten's tunneling destroyed the pool and part of Homer's house.
