May the 12th Be with You is a Disney+ short. It aired on May 10, 2024.
Synopsis[edit]
- "It's Mother's Day and Marge Simpson joins the moms of Disney+ on a special holiday outing that turns into an epic galactic adventure filled with heroes, villains and a surprising old friend."
Plot[edit]
Marge, Maggie, and the moms and children of Disney+ get ready for a Mother's Day outing. As they all get into Marge's car though, the car engine backfires. Bambi's mother panics, thinking it is another hunter and yells for the hunter to take Bambi and not her. As Marge wonders how they're going to get to the outing, Ahsoka Tano's T-6 1974 lands next to the house. As everyone gets aboard the ship, Nani Pelekai asks Marge if she's okay with hyperspace travel. Marge says that she never gets carsick, but then she gets sick on the ship. Before the ship can arrive at Disney Playground Planet, they have to park at Disney Parking Planet.
When they arrive at Disney Playground Planet, Mrs. Potts remarks about how clean the park is, and Darth Vader tells her that the punishment for littering is death. Everyone then goes to get ice cream. Meanwhile, in the sand pit, Rotta eats another kid's sandcastle. The kid calls Rotta a "big, fat monster", and Mary Poppins says that there is no fat-shaming in the park. She then turns her umbrella into a lightsaber and a fight breaks out between the Jedi and Stormtroopers in the park. The Disney+ moms and Maggie join the fight against the Stormtroopers until a Stormtrooper stops the fight, saying that it was all a simulation and Marge had ruined it. Marge then decides to hold an apology party at her house.
Back at the house, the apology party is in full swing. Kids play pin the tail on the donkey on Eeyore, and hit a Star Destroyer pinata. Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes also play at the party. Marge then notices that the Hulu kids have been let into the party. After Stewie asks someone to vodka up his juice box, Homer takes Stewie to Moe's Tavern with him, stuffing Stewie into a bag. Stewie complains about this and starts swearing as his show is a 9:30 show.
