Location Information

The Land of Chocolate is a land imagined by Homer when German businessmen bought the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and, during an interview, tell Homer they come from "the Land of Chocolate", referring to Germany. It is entirely made of chocolate, including houses, postlights, paths, rivers and even chocolate rabbits, and a in a part called "Fudgetown" chocolate fudges rain. It reappeared in The Simpsons Game as the first and tutorial level. The level is a place where the only enemies will be chocolate rabbits and the White Chocolate Rabbit. Its population is 1372 as seen in a sign at the entrance to the town.

The Simpsons Game

"The Land of Chocolate" as seen in The Simpsons Game

In The Simpsons Game, the "Land of Chocolate" is the first an tutorial level. Homer falls asleep and dreams of the Land of Chocolate. Then the White Chocolate Rabbit comes to tell him he's eating their world, and the rabbit runs across a chocolate river. Homer chases him jumping on the giant marshmallows to cross the river. After that he gets to the town and opens his way punching chocolate rabbits. He destroys the Marge Fountains to prevent the rabbits to reproduce. Homer then gets to the giant cake and sees the white rabbit jump on top of it, and Homer climbs it and eats the white rabbit, after which he becomes "Homer Ball". The cake disappears and now he has to destroy the rabbits by rolling onto them. Then Homer wakes up angry because he isn't a big ball.

Characters

  • Homer: Homer is the main character of the level, he can jump, burp, kick and (only under the cake) turn into a Homerball.
  • White rabbit: the boss fighter at the end you have to destroy.
  • Chocolate rabbits: these rabbits spawn all throughout the level and come from Marge fountains.

Clichés

This level has one/two (Xbox version/Playstation 2 version) of the Comic Book Guy's video games clichés throughout the game. When found, a picture of Comic Book guy appears with the description and a comment made by him.

  • Double jump: it is found when you do a double jump after crossing the chocolate river. "Oh, a double jump. That's so original".
  • Swiches and Levels: (only in the PS2 version) when activating the lever that makes the giant cookies appear to climb the giant cake. "What would video games be without levers? Original."
