The Gluten, the Bread and the Hungry! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #88.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Pieman and the Cupcake Kid take on a new crime team, Glutenus Maximus and his sidekick Gluten Tag, whose pastry-related misdeeds have led to a ban on all baked goods in Springfield. How will the heroic duo battle their foes without their arsenal of pies and cupcakes, and what's worse, what will Homer do without his daily dose of donuts?"

The Leftorium is robbed by two masked villains, Glutenus Maximus and his sidekick, Gluten Tag. They use pastries as weapons. On the news, reports tell Clancy Wiggum that they have banned all bakery goods until they give up or manage to catch them.
