"The Day the Earth Stood Cool"[1] (also known as "The Day the Earth Stayed Cool"[2]) is an upcoming episode of season 24. It was set to air on December 2, 2012[3], but was then moved to December 9, 2012.[4]

Plot

A "cool family" from Portland moves in next door to the Simpsons. Homer is desperate to befriend them, while Marge is skeptical, thinking that being cool is not all it's cracked up to be.[2]
