History[edit]
Homer once complained that Lisa wouldn't allow the family to watch FOX because the station owns chemical weapons plants in Syria.[1]
During the Simpson family's vacation to Israel, Marge commented that their tour guide, Jakob, was "pushy". Jakob scoffed at Marge, sarcastically stating that the Americans are surrounded by their "great enemy" Canada. He then told her "Try Syria for two months. Then we'll see who's pushy!"[2]
