Season 26 Upcoming Guest Stars

Death Clues

Some clues about the Springfield resident who will pass away on the Season Premiere were given by the media:

The character to die would have appeared more than twice in the show and will be voiced by an Emmy Award-winning voice actor who won an Emmy for the role as the character. This will be the season 26 premiere. As Al Jean said,[50] it won't be Edna Krabappel, due to Marcia Wallace's death[51] and Hank Azaria confirmed that it wasn't one of his characters.[52] However, Homer won't be who dies.[25]

Upcoming Couch Gags

  • Matt Groening pointed out that they have some 'surprises' for this season.[25]
  • Matt also said "We've got one[couch gag] so nightmarish it will change your DNA!"[25]
