Scent of a Baby is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story that appears in Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders One-Shot WonderMaggie #1.

Plot

Marge is cuddling with Maggie on the couch and after Marge falls asleep, Maggie leaves her and crawls away. Santa's Little Helper and Snowball V then start cuddling with Maggie; she tries to get them to leave her alone, but they refuse. Lisa enters the room and as she cuddles with Maggie, she tells the toddler that she likes her smell. Maggie becomes annoyed and pinches her nose. Lisa tells Bart that if they could bottle Maggie's smell, they would become rich. Bart then tries to see if Maggie smells good by hugging her, but Maggie runs away. She goes into the kitchen and eats a bite of onion, which causes her breath to smell badly, so her siblings then leave Maggie alone. Homer comes home and sees Maggie crying (without realizing it's caused by an onion) and hugs her to comfort her. Homer discovers that Maggie smells like onion rings, which makes him hungry. He starts drooling over Maggie, who throws away the onion while Homer continues to hug her.
